Nassim Nicholas Taleb is a Lebanese-American essayist, scholar, statistician, former trader, and risk analyst, whose work concerns problems of randomness, probability, and uncertainty. He is the author of the Incerto series of books, including Fooled by Randomness, The Black Swan, and Antifragile. Based on his recommendations, Taleb seems to have wide-ranging interests, from food to philosophy to science.
